Welcome to Flashpoint Racing
|
|
Welcome to the Flashpoint Racing Series! This league came into being because of a belief that I had that every driver should be treated with fairness and respect. Too often, leagues forget that the only reason that they exist is because of the drivers. And so it is in an effort to show that there are those out there that recognize this fact, we as a team have created this place for us and other drivers to compete in an environment of good sportsmanship, friendship, and most importantly, in an atmosphere in which it is known that the DRIVERS COME FIRST!
And just what does this mean? Well, most importantly, it means that the drivers will not be left for several days wondering when the settings are going to be posted, or when the results will come out. Even as the drivers must follow a schedule, so must the league directors. And while we might be late from time to time, we will never leave the drivers wondering why as we will make sure that the drivers are kept informed. This is our pledge to the drivers, to our league and to each other.

COT Pro 2 starts a new season, as Bill "Slick" Schneider brings his Dodge Avenger across the bricks for the win!
Welcome back drivers! Again we setup our wheel and pedals, cool beverage nearby, and put the pedal to the metal for our favorite charity...online racing! There be no better adrenaline pumping activity (well, there is another but I'm keeping it G-rated in here) than trading paint with some hardcore racers!

Another exciting SSP4 race, as jjnscrmn whips the 'Monster' and brings his Miller Light Chevrolet Impala SS to a confetti-laced Victory Lane!
Here we are in our 8th race in SSP4, and the excitement keeps coming. Lots of interesting finishes this season. Everyone has vastly improved in our racing, with some surprising results. Team PSI has consistently brought a first place finisher to Victory Lane. NASA Motorsports has been in a few close ones. Individual drivers have also brought some out-of-your-seats situations.

Over a series of 19 tracks, NASA team member JJ managed to hold off some strong contenders. Newcomer Mike from Team PSI was able to grab onto the lead in a short time and keep it until the very end when he missed one too many races. After the smoke cleared and calculations were done, JJ managed to take the crown BY ONE POINT!!! Great job JJ!
